Pork Belly and Duck Egg Sweet and Sour Rice Bowl

While quarantined with my second bout of COVID-19, I ordered a rice dish from the local Bangkok restaurant Pig Lock. The rice dish, complete with a fried duck egg, hearty crispy pork belly, fried onions, and crispy chili, was a hearty and filling dish that satiated me in my most boring hours.

Stuck in a hotel whilst self-isolating, I placed an order for a Thai rice dish. I ordered a rice bowl from "Pork Lock", a local restaurant that serves up Thai-style pork dishes over rice.
In specific, I ordered a "sweet and sour pork bowl with rice" which came with a generous portion of pork belly and crispy fried onions served over a hearty helping of rice. The bowl also came with crispy garlic, a halved lime, deep-fried Thai chili peppers, and a fried chicken egg.
Overall, the dish is hearty, filling, and extremely satisfying. It's impossible to stay hungry with the Pork Lock dish in front of you!
Even though I was feeling under the weather, I was very happy to enjoy this dish. It was extremely nice when I wasn't feeling my best, and comforted me at my weakest.
The rice dish was topped with a fatty and satiating serving of crispy pork belly, and was served with a spritz of lime and generous topping of crispy fried onion.
