Moo Ping, or Grilled Pork Skewers with Sticky Rice
Bangkok, Thailand Street Food Breakfast
Moo ping is a simple, cheap, and tasty street food breakfast found throughout Thailand in the early morning. Thin pieces of pork are marinaded overnight then cooked on skewers over charcoal or gas grills.

Most neighborhoods will have a moo ping stand, but you usually have to get up relatively early if you want to enjoy this delicious breakfast!
Moo ping is one of my favorite Thai breakfasts. The pork is sweet, smoky, and fatty, and is drenched in each shop's secret marinade, which is typically made from soy sauce, oyster sauce, and palm sugar along with mashed garlic, white pepper, and cilantro to give it a balanced flavor.

Price
This is one of the cheapest street food breakfasts in Bangkok! Each pork skewer costs just 5 baht, and a packet of sticky rice is also 5 baht. For less than one dollar (30 baht) you can have five pork skewers and a packet of rice!
