Chicken Bami Noodles

A new noodle restaurant opened in my neighborhood a while back, and I had been very excited to check it out for a while. The shop looked new, modern, and very clean, and the menu looked great as well. Last week, I finally stopped in for lunch to order a bowl of chicken bami noodles (thin wheat noodles).

I ordered their biggest noodle bowl. It was served with my choice of noodle (I picked "bami noodles" which are a type of thin Thai-style wheat noodles). The soup was a brown broth made from chicken blood, herbs, and spices, and the bowl of noodles was stuffed full of tons of fantastic and tasty ingredients.
The bowl of noodles came with an entire chicken drumstick stewed in broth and spices so that the meat just fell off the bone when I picked it up with my chopsticks. It also came with a good portion of shredded chicken meat, half of a boiled egg, two crispy wontons, tons of herbs, fried garlic, and spices, and a cube of chicken blood (a popular Thai ingredient that I'm still not totally on board with). You don't have to eat the blood if you don't want (although I've heard that it's very good for you).
I really enjoyed my noodles, and I left the restaurant after lunch happy, full, and satisfied.

While the menu is printed in Thai, each entry comes with a clear photograph to help you see what you are ordering. If you cannot read Thai, you can always use a translation app on your phone.
I have also found that the staff can speak English and are very happy to help with your order.
