This new restaurant in Bangkok's Sathorn neighborhood serves up Cantonese-Thai-style roast duck meat on rice with super high-quality ingredients and generous portions.

Apollo Duck opened just last year, but has already become a favorite among workers and locals in Bangkok's central business district.

The menu has plenty of options, but I wanted to order Apollo's most iconic dish: roast duck over rice.

The portion was huge, and the duck meat was much thicker and juicer than what you often find at local duck rice restaurants. Served with a thick, smoky Cantonese-style sauce over a huge inverted bowl of rice and topped with a huge portion of thick, juicy roasted duck meat, the dish was so filling that I almost couldn't finish it all.

I really enjoyed my meal. It was rich and super filling. The duck was top-notch; juicy and fatty with a crispy roasted skin soaked in Apollo's secret marinade.

Menu and Price

I ordered the roast duck over rice for 165 baht. It's a little expensive for Bangkok prices, but completely reasonable considering the quality and portion size.
