Roti is a type of flatbread that originated on the Indian subcontinent, but which is now part of many Southeast Asian cuisines. You can find versions of roti in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and lots of other places, each with their own unique styles.

Roti krop, or crispy roti, is a unique type of roti found in Thailand. Instead of the typical thick and chewy flatbread, roti krop is a crispy, wafer-thin type of roti which is almost like a sweet cracker.

The roti is shattered into several large pieces and drizzled with sweetened condensed milk. It's more of a snack than a meal, as other types of roti tend to be.

Location

Ranee French Butter Roti is a roti chain with a few locations in and around Bangkok. I visited their location at Big C Ladphrao a while back to enjoy a delicious egg roti

Or Tor Kor Market is located at 101 Kamphaeng Phet Rd, Chatuchak, Bangkok 10900 at MRT Kamphaeng Phet Station.
